The services offered at CAB Les Artisans de l\u2019Aide<\/strong> are made possible by a team of dedicated and committed volunteers. Below are all of CAB's volunteer needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


ACCOMPAGNEMENT<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\u00c9picerie<\/strong>
<\/strong>The role of the volunteer is to accompany the beneficiary in a chosen food market, to read the labels, to help him in his choices and to transport the food to the home. The service can also be accompanied by a visit to a banking institution beforehand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transport m\u00e9dical
<\/strong>Your role is to accompany the beneficiary during his medical appointment. Care begins when the volunteer picks up the beneficiary until they return home. It is also possible for the beneficiary to be accompanied to the pharmacy, following the medical appointment. The volunteer is reimbursed for the use of their vehicle at a rate per km determined monthly by the board of directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


ACCUEIL ET R\u00c9F\u00c9RENCE<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Telephone reception from Centre d\u2019Action b\u00e9n\u00e9vole<\/em> est effectu\u00e9e par des b\u00e9n\u00e9voles, selon un horaire de demi-journ\u00e9es (8 h \u00e0 midi ou de 13 h \u00e0 16 h). La t\u00e2che consiste \u00e0 la prise d\u2019appels, \u00e0 la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence des appels aux employ\u00e9es ou aux organismes selon la sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 de la demande et des besoins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


AIDE AUX FORMULAIRES<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Volunteers provide assistance to beneficiaries to complete forms from municipal, provincial or federal authorities. Volunteers can perform this task at the office of the Centre d\u2019Action b\u00e9n\u00e9vole<\/em> or at home if the beneficiaries cannot travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u00ceNER COMMUNAUTAIRE<\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Deux mercredis par mois, a lieu au Centre d\u2019Action b\u00e9n\u00e9vole<\/em>, a community dinner prepared and hosted by our volunteers, to allow isolated or lonely people to go out, discuss, forge new links and thus maintain a social network. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il y a 3 cat\u00e9gories de b\u00e9n\u00e9volat pour ce service :<\/strong>

Cuisine <\/strong>: pr\u00e9paration et service du repas et au nettoyage de la cuisine. Les b\u00e9n\u00e9vole arrivent vers 8h pour quitter vers 14h.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transport:<\/strong> aller chercher la client\u00e8le au domicile et la reconduire une fois le d\u00eener termin\u00e9. Le transport se fait \u00e0 l\u2019aide du v\u00e9hicule du b\u00e9n\u00e9vole et celui-ci est rembours\u00e9 pour l\u2019utilisation de son v\u00e9hicule selon un taux au km d\u00e9termin\u00e9 mensuellement par le conseil d\u2019administration. Le b\u00e9n\u00e9vole commence vers 10h et quitte vers 15h.
Animation :<\/strong> pr\u00e9parer pr\u00e9alablement des animations pour les b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires, les accueillir \u00e0 leur arriv\u00e9e. Les b\u00e9n\u00e9voles arrivent vers 10h pour quitter vers 14h30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


POPOTE ROULANTE<\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Two categories of volunteering are available to you<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Help with meal preparation<\/strong> du d\u00eener (soupe, plat principal et dessert) avec l\u2019aide du cuisinier sur place. Mise en contenants pour la livraison. De 7h30 \u00e0 11h ou de 12h30 \u00e0 14h30 les lundis, mardis, jeudis et vendredis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Livraison \u00e0 domicile avec chauffeur et baladeur<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le chauffeur<\/strong> utilise son v\u00e9hicule et est rembours\u00e9 pour l\u2019utilisation de celui-ci, selon la route assign\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le baladeur <\/strong>est responsable de livrer le repas \u00e0 la porte du b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaire et de recevoir le paiement, s\u2019il y a lieu, en argent ou par ch\u00e8que dans une enveloppe adress\u00e9e \u00e0 son nom et par carte de d\u00e9bit (Interac<\/em>) avec le terminal de paiement (\u00e0 venir). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le b\u00e9n\u00e9vole doit poss\u00e9der un t\u00e9l\u00e9phone cellulaire intelligent. Les b\u00e9n\u00e9voles arrivent vers 9h45 et quittent vers midi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


CHA\u00ceNE AUX A\u00ceN\u00c9S<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Appels t\u00e9l\u00e9phonique et visites amicales<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Le r\u00f4le du b\u00e9n\u00e9vole est d\u2019apporter un soutien amical afin de briser l\u2019isolement social. Les appels et visites amicales se font au domicile de la client\u00e8le sur une base hebdomadaire fix\u00e9e selon une entente entre la coordonnatrice du service, le b\u00e9n\u00e9vole et la client\u00e8le.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The person in charge of the service makes an appropriate volunteer \/ beneficiary match in order to bring them together around similar interests (walking, cycling, reading, hobbies, animals, profession, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
