Au cours des ann\u00e9es, j\u2019ai d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des aide-m\u00e9moires, des outils pratico-pratiques pour faciliter la t\u00e2che de la client\u00e8le a\u00een\u00e9e. Partant du principe que si c\u2019est aidant pour un, peut-\u00eatre le sera-t-il aussi pour d\u2019autre. N\u2019h\u00e9sitez donc pas \u00e0 partager.<\/span><\/p>\n

D\u00e9m\u00e9nagement : quoi faire quand ?<\/strong><\/span>
Pour bien pr\u00e9parer son d\u00e9m\u00e9nagement, mieux vaut s\u2019y prendre \u00e0 temps. Ce calendrier<\/a>\u00a0vous permettra de ne rien oublier.<\/p>\n

VULNERABLE SENIORS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is vulnerability?<\/strong> Isolation, loss of autonomy, cognitive problems, lack of social network, lack of awareness of resources, poverty, food insecurity, mistreatment and abuse are some of the factors that can create a situation of vulnerability<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ABUSE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is abuse?<\/strong> The mistreatment of the elderly is an increasingly frequent social problem. The consequences of mistreatment are serious in terms of the physical and psychological health of the elderly. We understand that in a situation of mistreatment, the elderly are reluctant to reveal their situation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to support and facilitate support in cases of mistreatment, the Committee for the Prevention of Elder Abuse of the MRC of Deux-Montagnes and South of Mirabel offers a support model that can be used by all people who are in contact with older people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you a senior in a situation of abuse ?<\/strong> We offer you empathetic, respectful and non-judgmental listening. Are you a relative or a witness ?<\/strong> Your collaboration is important and it can make a big difference !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CAB Les Artisans de l'Aide offers formations <\/a>intended for volunteers and workers who work with the elderly population, as well as awareness workshops for the elderly.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
